ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Director of IT Managed Services at Systems X, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our managed services division. Your responsibilities will encompass managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the delivery of top-tier managed IT services, and maintaining rigorous compliance with NIST and other relevant frameworks. You will lead strategic initiatives, foster client relationships, and drive the continuous improvement of our service offerings.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead and manage the IT Managed Services Group.

  • Ensure compliance with NIST frameworks and other relevant compliance standards.

  • Develop and implement strategies for service delivery improvement.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and methodologies.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams for delivery improvements based on client feedback. 

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new clients.

  • Participate in contract negotiations and renewals. 


 

TECHNOLOGIES YOU WILL USE:

  • Remote Management and Service Desk Portals.

  • Proprietary in-house software.

  • Cloud-based Project Management and Collaboration tools. 


 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within managed services or Enterprise IT Services Organization.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and other compliance standards.

  • Ability to travel to customer locations (5%-10%).


 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years in IT support.

  • Experience in IT Managed Service Provider environments a plus.

  • MacOS experience and multilingual skills are a plus.


 

LOCATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Chesterfield, Michigan.

  • 40-hour work week (Hybrid/Onsite).
