ABOUT THE ROLE:

In your role as a Compliance Associate, you'll be a key player in supporting our prestigious clients with their compliance and IT security needs. You'll conduct detailed cyber-risk management reviews and work with frameworks like DFARS 254.204-7012, NIST 800-171, and CMMC, providing crucial first-level support. Your role is pivotal in helping clients understand their compliance status and guiding them towards effective solutions.

YOUR KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of technical controls for compliance.

  • Identify and document control gaps, providing remediation guidance.

  • Educate and advise clients on cybersecurity assessment functions.

  • Track and manage compliance across various frameworks.

  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation and processes.

  • Collaborate on IT projects to integrate cybersecurity considerations.

  • Contribute to the development of Cybersecurity and Awareness Training programs.


 

TECHNOLOGIES YOU WILL USE:

  • Compliance and Service Desk Portals.

  • Penetration Testing Software.

  • Remote Access Tools.

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and meet deadlines.

  • Cloud-Based Project Management and Collaboration Tools. 


 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of DoD/Federal Government cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for client engagements.

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance. 


 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years in IT security and compliance. 

  • Security + Certification

  • Experience with IT Service Management tools.

  • Multilingual skills are a plus.


 

LOCATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Spring, Texas.

  • Hybrid work capability.

  • 40-hour work week.
